Be a Man Monday: Cursing

Hello all you happy people,

One of the topics I wanted to talk about on my blog is what I think it means to be a man (so take notes boys).  These posts can be found on Mondays, hopefully every week, and shall be christened "Be a Man Monday."  I certainly hope to meet you back here every Monday.  So let's plop down on the couch, turn on the football game, open some beers, and talk like men.
Today, I would like to talk about cursing.  I got the desire to talk about this topic when my family and I were out furniture shopping.  While in the store, we observed a "gentleman" being all around rude to his wife, and cursing at/around his children.  That's when it hit me... Is this what we think is the image of manliness?
This certainly won't how I was brought up, and is definitely not how my children will be raised.  As a man, I believe it is my job to make sure that my children grow up to be good people.  Part of this is being able to set a good example (there will be no "Do as I say, not as I do").  I must teach them to be respectful to others, esspecially toward their loved ones.  I need to be the one that will teach my son how to act toward his wife.  If I can't be respectful toward my wife, how am I to expect him to be any different.  We fathers have such a huge roll in shaping our children's future.  It is a huge resposibility and is not something we can reject because your afraid all the other guys will think you're weak.
And so, I now present to you my recession-proof buisiness idea!!!  All you women out there!!!  Is your man being disrespectful toward you or using foul launguage around your kids?  If so, for the low low price for $5 (plus travel expence) I will come to your house and kick your man in the Rio de Janeiros so hard that he will completely forget those words even exist!!!!
Anyway, thanks for reading, and BE A MAN!!!!
